Characteristics of the Prima Klima Industry Line K1611 carbon filter

The technology used by Prima Klima for the treatment of smells with this Industry Line K1611 filter ensures that each cubic cm of carbon is exploited while being subjected to less movement and thus producing less carbon dust.

The 250 mm metal flange of the filter which measures 4 cm wide will allow a stable connection in complete safety. The included brackets will be used to hang the filter in a space-saving manner. This Carbon Filter has a washable anti-dust external pre-filter.

Odor retention

Activated carbon has an intrinsic property that binds components organic which allows it to retain odors.

The greater the inner surface of the charcoal, the better its ability to absorb odors. Thanks to the quality of the carbon used from the coconut shell, this filter has an iodine factor of 1050 mg.

Contact time

This filter can be used with a blowing or aspirating air extractor. Its optimum filtration capacity is 1200 m3/h and its maximum capacity is 1800 m3/h.

To obtain the best filtration result, Prima Klima recommends installing the filter in a negative pressure environment. This means that more air is taken out of the filtration area than is taken in.

The longer the contact time between the air and the carbon, the more efficient the filter. The optimal contact time is between 0.05 and 2 seconds.

The surface of 1200 m2 per gram of carbon of this filter leads to a long contact time between the air and the carbon thus guaranteeing the perfect filtration of odors.
