Characteristics of duct heater

The duct heater consumes 1200W and is equipped with an adjustable thermostat from -10°c to 40°c and a remote temperature probe. It is designed to warm the fresh air drawn in through the round ventilation ducts with a diameter of 200mm. This is a supplementary device that is not intended for use outside of ducts.

In addition, it is equipped with a remote temperature sensor (probe) and a manual thermostat.

It consists of a galvanized steel frame on which the junction box, the cover of which is removable, is rigidly fixed. On the junction box, there is also the manual thermostat adjustable up to 40°C. An entrance located outside the junction box allows the connection cable to be taken out for grounding. Inside the chassis is the tubular electric heating element (coil).

This coil heating element is rated for a minimum air flow speed of 1.5m/s. The manufacturer Ventilation Systems designs the use of an inlet air filter to protect the heating element from air impurities.

The manual thermal circuit breaker is equipped with a manual reset button (inside it next to the Reset label). On one of the interior sides is the electrical diagram of this heater. IP40

This heating device, which has connection outlets 200mm, is designed to be installed inside air ducts in a horizontal or vertical position. In the horizontal position, the junction box must face upwards. The horizontal deviation can be up to 90°.
