Characteristics of Mycotrex fertilizer
Mycotrex is a mixture of spores d'endo-mycorhizes, bacteria from the rhizosphere, seaweed meal, and humic acids, to improve the assimilation of water and nutrients, increasing the root capacity of the plant by up to 700%.
The growing medium should never contain pathogens or wild plant seeds. For this reason, most soils are sterilized steam, which also kills useful soil bacteria and mycorrhizae. The loss of these auxiliaries makes plant cultivation very vulnerable.
Mycorrhizae are beneficial mushrooms earth type Glomus, which enter into symbiosis with plants. They increase the effectiveness of each root, behaving as extensions of them, which increases up to 700% the ability of the roots to assimilate water and nutrients.
Mycotrex contains 9 different types of mycorrhizae, at a concentration of 88 spores per gram, this is very high: most products of this type on the market indeed express their concentration in millions of fragments of mycorrhizal roots (propagules), of which only a few may be spores.
The combination of these 9 types of spores germinates along the roots as arbuscular vesicular mycorrhizae, which penetrate deep into the soil to convert and render assimilable the nutrients, in quantity necessary for the plant.
Many studies around the world have shown that plants that have a good mycorrhizal system achieve a better growth and have a better chance of survival. They assimilate more water and nutrients, are healthier, and have a better resistance against diseases from the substrate.
Beneficial bacteria, seaweed powder and humic acids have been added to Mycotrex to promote initial root development.
