Calcium is necessary for the growth process of plants. It is essential for strengthening cell walls and for resistance to fungal attacks in wet cultures. It plays a special role in the ion exchanges of the plant. It is transported in plants by the same channels that bring them water: the xylem.

Ca 15 from Bio Nova is to be used in case of calcium deficiency. It acts quickly and can be used with all fertilization programs.

Calcium deficiency will first show up on the large leaves of plants and the older ones.

We see appearing tasks brown and yellowish often surrounded by a pronounced brown rim.

Growth is stunted and in severe cases the flowers will atrophy.

The signs of a deficiency appear quickly, in 2 weeks the first spots appear on the oldest leaves.

• Sometimes the young shoots will wrinkle and the calyxes will have small, thin, misshapen leaves.
• Older leaves die slowly.

Excess ammonium, calcium, magnesium, or sodium around the roots. Ammonium inhibits calcium absorption the most, and sodium the least.
